People don’t know because they don’t want to know. They don’t know where there food comes from, how many people die of starvation, hatred, wanton violence, each day, how we are destroying the earth, or how greed is destroying our economy.

“Ignorance is Bliss,” they say.

But maybe we’re not entitled to Bliss. Bliss is for we we do not think about things because we don’t have to, not because we don’t want to.

And there’s still a lot of work, a lot of thinking, to be done before we reach that point.

Knowledge is uncomfortable, but that discomfort allows us to change. And we need change.

So: Read. Talk. Share. Write. Question. Listen. Learn. And Do.
